Born in Southern California and raised in Arkansas - Howie B. comes from an eclectic background. Raised by a rocker family and born with a wide-eyed imagination- he acquired his taste for fashion at a young age. Howie B. attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising to obtain a degree in fashion design in 2013. After graduating and working under incredible mentors he launched his design business catering to performance, stage wear and custom commissions. Since then, he has worked on incredible projects such as Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album music videos & stage performances, Kiley Minogue’s Las Vegas Residency dancers and Lizzo’s wardrobe for her tour. He debuted at the Met Gala in 2024 with Tony & Grammy award winning artist J. Harrison Ghee. He has also worked with top celebrity talent such as Ariana Grande, Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, Saweetie, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion and Gwen Stefani as well as drag super stars like Sasha Colby, Angeria Paris VanMichaels, Bosco, Sugar & Spice, Symone, Gigi Goode, Denali Foxx to name a few.
